Indian pacer S Sreesanth expressed his happiness and gratefulness in meeting the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday. He took on Twitter to express his happiness.

“@iamsrk it was really great meeting u yesterday after so long..u alwys bring lots of energy Nd belief ..thanks for the love and care brother,” Sreesanth in his reply replied to a Tweet from Shah Rukh and wrote.

He said that King Khan brings a lot of energy and belief and also praised his positive attitude.

Sreesanth, who was earlier accused of spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) were later discharged in the IPL-6 spot-fixing case by a Delhi court. “All are discharged (from the case),” Additional Sessions Judge Neena Bansal Krishna said while pronouncing the order a year ago.

Other two prominent IPL players with the likes of Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, who were on bail were also discharged in the case in which six persons including underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his aide Chhota Shakeel were declared proclaimed offenders.

“The offence in relation to which MCOCA is sought to be invoked pertains to betting and match-fixing, which… does not fit in any penal statute,” the court said. “All the necessary ingredients to establish a prima facie case under the provisions of MCOCA is not made out,” it said.

“Even if entire evidence of prosecution is accepted, then too it is not established that there exists a core crime syndicate of Dawood [Ibrahim] and Chhota Shakeel who have been indulging in the organised offence of betting and match-fixing and also dealing with money so generated through hawala,” it added.

The court had granted bail to Sreesanth, Chavan and other accused of lack of evidence against them under the provisions of stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA). However, he never made his comeback into the national squad.
