Sachin Tendulkar gives heartfelt reply to Lata Mangeshkar for her warm wishes

The life of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is all set to hit the silver screens next month. The biopic of the maestro titled ‘Sachin: A billion dreams’ will be hitting the cinemas on May 26 this year. Recently, the trailer of the much-awaited movie was released amidst a lot of hype and excitement. Needless to say, the fans are eagerly waiting for the day to arrive when they could know their favorite cricketer a little more.

With the trailer being out, the build up to the movie has already started. Wishes have come in flooding for Sachin Tendulkar from all corners. From friends, family, relatives to the fans, there is absolutely no shortage of good wishes for the former Indian skipper. Legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar has also joined the long list of such well-wishers.

Sachin is known to share a great bond with the veteran singer. Sachin considers her to be a mother-like figure for him and has often spoken about his love for Lata Mangeshkar. No wonder he was left touched with the words shared by Lata on the social media.

In her tweet, Lata Mangeshkar hoped that the movie also hits all the boundaries just the way Sachin Tendulkar used to smash boundaries at ease during his playing days. Sachin was quick to acknowledge the words of the singer and noted that it is always nice to have the blessings of the mother before doing anything substantial in life. He remarked that the singer is like a mother figure to him. Sachin tweeted, “Maa ke aashirwad bina chouke chakke kabhi nahi lagte. Aap mere liye Maa samaan ho. Thank you so much for your blessings!”
