Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic will hit the screens on 26th May of 2017, however, its first look was released yesterday at a function in Juhu. Sachin spoke about many things during the launch of the film but the trailer told a lot of stories itself.

The master blaster said that he has been trying to get closer to the fans over social media and all the other platforms possible. A player who kept his private life very private will finally share many reminiscences from his life that never made it to the fans. He believes that this film can bring his fans closer to him than ever before. Sachin shared one of the stories from his childhood.

“Somebody asked me the first filmA I saw. I was three or four years old. My family was discussing watching this film called Maa. Finally, when we went by bus to see the film I told the conductor I want the ticket of Maa film. I hope these moments stay with me. They will only bring me closer to my fans. On social media platforms also, I have tried to get closer to my fans,” said the master blaster while addressing the crowd on Thursday.

The trailer also has some tough times of the Indian cricket. The fixing saga features in this film and we see some fans driven with rage peppering stones and burning statues in one of the clips of the trailer. We also hear Tendulkar saying in the background that it was the darkest time in Indian cricket.

“It was cricket’s worst period. As a sportsman, you should learn to get back on your feet and start competing again,” Tendulkar’s voice echoes as he is seen sitting with his hands wrapped around his knees.

This film might bring into light some of the sad truths about Indian players involved in match fixing. But it surely will be one of the most loved films as anything that has Tendulkar in it will always be loved by the fans in India.

It will be interesting to see how the film turns out to be and how many untold stories are sprung into light through this medium.
