While Virat Kohli is regarded as one of the finest cricketers ever, his love for football is also hidden from none. The Indian skipper has been spotted playing football on many occasions like warm-up sessions, charity games, etc. On Tuesday, the 32-year-old again showed his footballing prowess by accidentally acing a ‘crossbar challenge’. He posted a video on Twitter where he was seen executing a shot in such a way that the ball hit the crossbar and bounced back.

It was indeed a difficult challenge to nail, and even Kohli was in awe of his brilliance. Unsurprisingly, the video went viral in no time, with netizens hailing the Indian skipper. One of the notable personalities reacting to Kohli’s hit was Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri. He cheekily took credit for Virat’s shot by asking the talismanic batsman for payment.

“Saare coaching sessions ka ek hi invoice bheju, ya aasan kishton mein chukaoge, champ (Should I send a single invoice for all coaching sessions, or you’ll pay in installments, champ)?” wrote Chhetri while reacting to Kohli’s video.

Notably, the two Indian skippers are known to share a great camaraderie and have been spotted hanging out with each other on numerous occasions.  Last year, Kohli and Chhetri also went live on Instagram together where they talked about various topics ranging from sports and personal life.

Meanwhile, Kohli is currently gearing up for the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand. The summit clash will get underway on June 18 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. However, Team India has a daunting task at hand as they’ll fly to England on June 2 and undergo a 14-day quarantine period upon their arrival. Hence, they’ll not get much time for preparation.

On the contrary, Kane Williamson’s New Zealand will meet hosts England in two Tests prior to the WTC final. Hence, they’ll have an excellent opportunity to adapt to the English conditions and also identify their best playing XI. Nevertheless, India is the top-ranked Test team, and the Kiwis must beware of their knack of defying the odds. Hence, fans across the globe must brace themselves to witness some exciting battle in the ultimate showdown of Test cricket.
