Well, the chances to get hold of the conditions ahead of the World Cup are running out for Sri Lanka. Their first ODI of the two-match series against Scotland was abandoned due to rain and the visitors will be hoping to get into the action at least on Tuesday. Scotland, on the other hand, are not part of the upcoming World Cup and would be looking to grab every chance of playing any of the top ten teams to prove their mettle.

Dimuth Karunaratne, of all, will be looking to get things right on the field with this game. He would be desperate for some game time in the middle as the captain of the team having played the last ODI in 2015 World Cup. Also, the comeback men Lahiru Thirimanne and Jeevan Mendis need a hit out before the warm-up games for the mega event in England start.

Match Details

The second ODI of the two-match series between Scotland and Sri Lanka will be hosted by the Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh

The match starts at 11:00 local time, 15:30 IST, 10:00 GMT.

Live streaming will be available on Cricket Scotland’s official Youtube channel – CricketScotlandTV

Weather Conditions

The forecast in Edinburgh on Wednesday is not promising either and another washout might be on the cards. It will be cloudy the whole day and the chances of raining are more. By 1 PM, there is a chance of passing shower while the heavens will threaten to open up for the rest of the day as well. Not a good news for the fans in Scotland.
