Virat Kohli-led Indian side faces off against Sarfaraz Ahmed’s Pakistan in the finals of the 2017 edition of the Champions Trophy. Both the teams have played each other once in the tournament, with India convincingly winning the match. A high-voltage encounter is expected between India and Pakistan, with both sides looking in great form.

While we saw the likes of Sania Mirza, Mukesh and Nita Ambani amongst the spectators supporting Team India at The Oval, Shah Rukh Khan decided to cheer the Men in Blue in his own style. The Badshah of Bollywood uploaded a photo on his social media handle Twitter, where he tweeted the photo alongside a caption which said “All spruced up 2 cheer for CT17 Finals. Also excited to present the MiniTrails to the world #JabHarryMetSejal”.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently shooting for his new movie “Jab Harry Met Sejal”, which received flak for the poster since it looked similar to the poster of the English film ‘When Harry Met Sally.”

The Big Finals

On the other hand, India entered the finals of the 2017 edition of the Champions Trophy, with victories over Pakistan, South Africa in the group stages, while defeating the fellow Asian side Bangladesh in the second semi-final of the tournament. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli starred in India’s victory over their neighbours, with the former scoring an unbeaten 123, while the latter scored 96* in the process.

The Men in Blue would be looking to defend the title they won in England four years ago when a side led by MS Dhoni defeated the hosts England by a margin of five runs to their second Champions Trophy win. Pakistan, on the other hand, defeated the hosts England to set-up the clash against India in the grand finals, where they look to add their first Champions Trophy title to their cabin.
