Probable Top Performers for SIX vs STR
Josh Philippe– Sydney Sixers
Josh Phillipe was a tad scratchy to start his knock against the Renegades. But once he got the measure of the conditions, he flexed his muscles. He went on to score 95 runs, though he missed out on becoming the first Sixers’ batter to get a BBL century.
The youngster played at a strike-rate of 160 and got out in the death overs. The right-hander will be looking for another knock of substance.
Alex Carey– Adelaide Strikers
Alex Carey didn’t play the first game and the Strikers missed his services big time in the middle order. The southpaw played the previous game and showed exactly why he’s deemed as one of the best for them.
He played at a strike-rate of 137.50 and notched 55 runs in a tense run-chase. He started in a cautious way, but when he got his eyes in, he was unstoppable. The Sixers need to be wary of him.
