Agha Salman and Iftikhar Ahmed are currently batting at the crease, as Pakistan have lost four wickets in the ongoing clash against India at the R Premdasa Stadium in Colombo. Pakistan need 357 runs to win, and the pair of Salman and Iftikhar will be key if the Men in Green are to fancy their chances of a victory.

Meanwhile, on the last ball of 21st over, which was being bowled by Ravindra Jadeja, Salman attempted a cheeky shot to bag some runs. Although his shot selection was on point, the batter was batting without a helmet to a spinner. The ball eventually caught the edge and hit Salman right in his face, and he instantly started bleeding. Wicketkeeper KL Rahul also quickly went towards the batter to check his condition and called the physio to have a look.

Earlier in the game, Indian batters batted brilliantly to post a mammoth total of 356/2 on the board. Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper-batter Rahul scored 122 and 111, respectively. For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi got the wicket of Shubman Gill (58), while Shadab Khan dismissed skipper Rohit Sharma (56).

Pakistan got off to a shaky start as opening batter Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed for just nine. Skipper Babar Azam, too, was dismissed cheaply off a stunning delivery by Hardik Pandya. Soon after the wicket, play was halted for some time due to rain. Upon resumption, Shardul Thakur provided the breakthrough by getting the better of Mohammad Rizwan, which meant that Pakistan were in all sorts of trouble at 47/3

Fakhar Zaman and Salman Agha did try to steady the ship, but as soon as Rohit introduced spin, Kuldeep Yadav struck by riding through Zaman's defence. Meanwhile, Agha and Iftikhar will now look to provide the needed resistance if they are to fancy a win.
