Australia aim to clinch Test series
Australia continue to maintain a strong grip on the ongoing Test series against Pakistan. Dominantly playing the first Test, the Pat Cummins-led side managed to register a 360-run win in the contest and are looking in pole position to win the second Test and the series.
By the end of Day 3 of the second Test, Australia had scored 187 runs in the second innings and lost six wickets in the process. The day ended with Steve Smith’s wicket on 50 runs, and as Alex Carey remained on strike with Day 4 approaching, the hosts maintained a 241-run lead against Pakistan. They will hope that they can pile on some more runs and post a big total for the visitors to chase down.
