The Indian team will lock horns with Bangladesh in the second ODI with the series on the line in Dhaka. However, the Indian team was handed a setback after Kuldeep Sen was omitted from the team for the second ODI due to complaints of a stiff back. Sen, who made his international debut in the series opener, has been replaced by Umran Malik in the starting eleven.

The Men in Blue, led by Rohit Sharma were on the receiving end of a memorable heist by the Bangladeshi tailenders in the first ODI of the three-match series. Kuldeep Sen, who made his debut for the visitors in the match, impressed with his pace and bounce, scalping two wickets in his five overs. However, the 26-year-old complained of a stiff back in the aftermath of the series opener.

BCCI put out an official tweet clarifying the omission of the pacer hailing from Madha Pradesh. The tweet read, "Kuldeep Sen complained of back stiffness following the first ODI on Sunday. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him and has advised him to rest. He was not available for selection for the 2nd ODI."

Young tearaway pacer Umran Malik replaces Sen in the starting eleven after impressing on the recent tour of New Zealand. Apart from Kuldeep, Shahbaz Ahmed has also been omitted from the playing eleven. Axar Patel, who was unavailable for selection in the first ODI, replaces the RCB man in the team.

Bangladesh skipper Litton Das won the toss for the second game in a row and has decided to bat first in the decisive second ODI. A win for the hosts will seal a historic series victory against a star-studded Indian team.
