The second Test of the ongoing two-game Test series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka is well underway, and after winning the first Test in dominant fashion, the visitors have continued their onslaught against Bangladesh at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.

As Day two of the second Test rolled around, one of the biggest highlights of the day came on the sixth ball of the 121st over of the first innings. Khaled Ahmed bowled to Prabath Jayasuriya, and as the batter attempted to drive the ball, he got a thick edge.

As the ball travelled to the first slip, the fielder dropped the catch, juggling it to the second slip, who fumbled the catch once again, and as the ball travelled to the third slip, the fielder once again failed to catch it as the ball dropped to the ground, making for a hilarious moment. The clip of the same has been making the rounds all over social media.

Sri Lanka post 531 runs in the first innings

After winning the first Test in dominant fashion, Sri Lanka continued their brilliant run of form in the second game as well. Batting first in the second Test, the visitors opened their innings with Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne scoring 57 and 86 runs, respectively.

Furthermore, Kusal Mendis scored 93 runs in 150 deliveries, with Dinesh Chandimal and Dhananjaya de Silva scoring 59 and 70 runs, respectively. Kamindu Mendis stayed unbeaten on a score of 92 runs as Sri Lanka posted a total of 531 runs in the first innings.

As for Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan was the highest wicket-taker with three wickets to his name. Hasan Mahmud took two wickets with Khaled Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took one wicket each as well.

If Bangladesh aim to level the series, the hosts will hope to put in an improved performance as compared to the first Test and will aim to minimize their trail as much as possible.
