Other than Chahal, Sourav Ganguly, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah are some of the few personalities from the cricketing fraternity to have expressed their sentiments on the same case.
Coming to Chahal's whereabouts, he is currently representing Northamptonshire in the One-Day Cup 2024. Having played his last competitive fixture in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League, he returned with a bang as he registered phenomenal figures of 10-5-14-5.

Along with Chahal, Prithvi Shaw is representing Northamptonshire as well. While Shaw might have to do something extraordinary in terms of his outings in the competition, Chahal seems more likely of the two to be in the reckoning of India's white-ball side for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh at home.
