Brett Lee and Shane Watson engage in fun banter ahead of LLC 2023

With the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2023 scheduled to begin on March 10, fans are buzzing with excitement and are waiting to see their favourite cricket legends in action once again. Among the many greats of the game, Australian legends Shane Watson and Brett Lee will also be participating in the upcoming tournament.

World Giants, Asia Lions, and India Maharajas will be the three teams that will be taking each other on in the tournament. Lee and Watson will be playing together and will represent World Giants as the tournament commences soon. 

As both players gear up to get in shape for the tournament, they were seen engaging in some fun banter as well. In a video shared by Brett Lee on his Instagram handle, the former Australian pacer was seen firing off a friendly fire at Watson, advising him to wear a helmet. 

Brett Lee captioned the video as "Not much has changed since the good old days 😉😉 @brettlee_58 Preparation done now and onto Doha for @llct20 Should be a lot of fun!! @t20stars."

India Maharajas will take on Asia Lions in first match of the LLC

As the LLC commences on March 10, the first match of the competition will see Indian Maharajas take on Asia Lions on Friday, March 10 at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha.

India Maharajas will be led by former Indian batter Gautam Gambhir, and Asia Lions will be under former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s leadership. World Giants are the defending champions of LLC Masters, and under Aaron Finch’s captaincy, they will hope that the same can be the case this year as well.

Many greats of the game like Robin Uthappa, Sreesanth, Mohammad Kaif, and many others will be the part of this coveted event as well. IPL greats like Pravin Tambe and Manvinder Bisla have also confirmed their participation. After the first match, India Maharajas will take on World Giants in the second match. Asia Lions’ second game also sees them taking on World Giants on March 11.
