Cricket Buzz: Social media trends on June 9

As day 3 of the World Test Championship final (WTC) 2023 progressed, Ajinkya Rahane and Shardul Thakur stabilized the Indian innings with a 109-run partnership. Many players came forward to laud the sensational knock of the veteran Indian batter. Meanwhile, Joe Root posted a picture of himself in training with Harry Brook ahead of the much-anticipated Ashes.

Harsha Bhogle shared a picture of himself with legendary football commentator Peter Drury as both had a candid chat. Ambati Rayudu took to social media as he met with the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, as they posed in front of the IPL 2023 trophy that Chennai Super Kings recently won.
