Concerns over the Authenticity of the AI tools like BARD

Bard's recent proclamation of India securing its third ODI World Cup title has stirred doubts about its accuracy. The truth stands that if India claims victory in the finals, it will mark their third title, not the fourth as mentioned by Bard. Concerns have surfaced regarding Bard's reliability due to its tendencies towards inaccuracies, notably in the realm of cricketing forecasts.

Recent evaluations by Vectara's Hallucination Leaderboard spotlighted Google's PaLM 2 and PaLM Chat, revealing their relatively higher hallucination rates of 12.1% and 27.2%, respectively. In contrast, GPT-4 exhibited a notably lower hallucination rate of 3%. This underscores the ongoing discussions about the reliability and precision of AI models like Bard when it comes to accurate information delivery, particularly within the cricketing domain.
