In a major development for Indian cricket, the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) came forward to announce the appointment of former cricketer Gautam Gambhir as the side’s new head coach. Gambhir will succeed Rahul Dravid as coach, as the former batter’s tenure ended after India’s T20 World Cup triumph.
After the announcement was made, Gautam Gambhir’s wife, Natasha Jain, took to Instagram to celebrate the achievement. Her reaction to the news has been going viral all over social media. Natasha took to her Instagram stories and posted two stories where she opined that Gambhir deserves to lead the Indian team.
Furthermore, she shared a picture of Gambhir alongside BCCI secretary Jay Shah. The former Lucknow Super Giants mentor was the mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024. His guidance helped the side become three-time champions of the IPL, as they dominated the entire competition to lift the trophy.
