Over the years, many of the renowned sports analysts have been needlessly called out by the social media bullies just for giving their honest and straight forward opinions related to the game. While some of them choose to ignore them, other do not hesitate in replying back.

'The Voice of Indian Cricket’ Harsha Bhogle was not the one to back off when he was criticized by a troll after he analyzed Suryakumar Yadav’s purple patch following his match-winning 51-ball 111* in the second T20I against New Zealand at the Bay Oval.

I have to tell it as it is: Harsha Bhogle

After Suryakumar Yadav had registered his second T20I century on Sunday, November 20, Bhogle took to Twitter and mentioned that it was a joy for him to watch a player who is at the height of his powers.

However, one of the fans was not at all pleased with the veteran commentator’s words of praise for the middle-order white-ball specialist. He came forward and asked Harsha to stop praising the batter’s form so much.

Furthermore, the fan seemingly threatened the versatile cricket expert by saying that if Yadav’s form gets jinxed by Bhogle’s analysis, then he will have to face the wrath of the whole country.

Once this tweet came to Harsha Bhogle’s notice, he came forward and reminded the person that he is only doing his job and that he is a commentator and not a ‘witch-doctor’.

Coming back to the second T20I, Suryakumar Yadav single-handedly took the initiative of scoring the runs for India as he counter-attacked the Kiwi bowlers in the middle and death overs. Tim Southee’s hat-trick in the final over meant that the visitors were restricted to 191/6.

Nonetheless, the score was more than enough for the Indian bowlers to defend and all-rounder Deepak Hooda’s match-winning bowling figures of 4/10 bowled New Zealand out for 126 runs in the penultimate over despite skipper Kane Williamson’s valiant knock of a 52-ball 61.

Suryakumar Yadav was adjudged the Player of the Match and India took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series with a comprehensive 65-run win.
