India head coach Rahul Dravid was seen pumped up soon after Mohammed Siraj dismissed Usman Khawaja on the opening day of the first Test match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur.
The 28-year-old bowled an outswinger to the Australian opener in his very first over with the new ball. Khawaja failed to connect and was hit on his pad straightaway as Siraj along with the keeper immediately appealed to the umpire. However, Nitin Menon wasn’t convinced and adjudged the batter not out.
After having a word with the bowler and keeper KS Bharat, India skipper Rohit Sharma decided to review and the ball tracker eventually showed three reds, which meant that Khawaja had to leave for the dressing room. With that, the Indian team erupted in ecstasy as Khawaja could have been dangerous on the spin-friendly track of Nagpur.

Shami sends Warner's stumps flying
Soon after Siraj’s strike, Australia were handed their second blow as ace pacer Mohammed Shami rattled David Warner’s stumps in the third over. The 32-year-old came around the wicket and dismissed the opener with his express pace as Warner failed to connect and his stumps went flying.
Australia made a comeback as Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith added 82 runs to bail the team out of a difficult situation, however, the visitors got a setback as Ravindra Jadeja dismissed Labuschagne and Matt Renshaw on back-to-back deliveries.
Meanwhile, Peter Handscomb and Alex Carry will aim to solidify the innings. Notably, Australia have decided to play four specialised bowlers, with Todd Murphy is making his international debut in the match.
