After a resounding victory in the third Test match in Rajkot, the caravan has now moved to Ranchi for the fourth encounter between India and England. However, with all the anticipation and excitement, there was a noteworthy absence in the Indian team as Jasprit Bumrah did not arrive with the squad to Ranchi.

The Indian Cricket Team, led by Rohit Sharma, touched down in Ranchi, eagerly awaited by fans. While the team's spirits are very high, the absence of  Bumrah, who has been a key figure in the series so far, has somewhat confirmed the speculations of him being rested for the fourth game of the series.

Jasprit Bumrah might miss the fourth Test

Bumrah has had a stellar performance in the series and is currently the leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets to his name. As the Indian contingent descended at the Birsa Munda Airport, it was Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep who were the only seamers visible along with the team. Rohit Sharma, coach Rahul Dravid, and Shubman Gill also landed at Ranchi ahead of the Test match.
