India locked horns with the Netherlands in their final group stage clash in the ongoing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 12. India posted an enormous 410 for four after winning the toss and opting to bat first.

India pacer Mohammed Siraj provided the first breakthrough for the Rohit Sharma-led side in the second innings as he sent back opener Wesley Barresi (4) to the pavilion in his first over. Notably, Siraj always replicates the celebration of famed Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo when he takes a wicket.  This time, Virat Kohli also joined the fast bowler to celebrate the wicket in a unique way.

Team India are having a dream run in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023. The team, captained by Rohit Sharma, has won all the matches they have played so far in the tournament. In their quest for victory in the ongoing match against the Dutch team, the Men in Blue hope to set a record by winning every game in the ODI World Cup league stage.

Team India post first 400-plus score in ODI World Cup 2023

In the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 game, Team India put up a spectacular show when batting first on the batting-friendly pitch in Bengaluru. The hosts started briskly thanks to a century-run partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Rohit then forged another partnership with Virat Kohli before Bas de Leede removed him after a well-made 61 off 54 deliveries. Kohli scored yet another half-century, his 71st, but fell right then.

Later Shreyas Iyer spearheaded India's innings along with KL Rahul and scored a half-century himself, marking the first occasion in a World Cup match that all four of a team's top batters have achieved fifty runs. The Indian duo made 208 runs while scoring respective hundreds to help India post their first 400-plus total in the ongoing tournament. Iyer and Rahul's partnership was the highest fourth-wicket stand in the history of the ODI World Cup. It is the fourth-highest by an Indian fourth-wicket combination in ODIs and also the third-highest partnership in this World Cup.
