In a bizzare turn of events, team India's star all-rounder Shardul Thakur's luggage went missing at the Mumbai Airport. Thakur was travelling via an Air India flight and as he reached the Mumbai airport but he could not find his cricket kit bags in the luggage belt.
The 30-year-old then put out a tweet stating that this is not the first time that his luggage has gone missing and that there was no staff member present near the luggage belt to assist him. Thakur also tagged Air India in his tweet.
Harbhajan Singh assured Shardul that his luggage will be found soon
"@airindiain can you send someone to help me with the luggage belt ? Not the first time that my kit bags haven’t arrived and no staff present at the location either!!" Shardul wrote on Twitter.
Replying to Shardul, Harbhajan wrote, "My dear we will make sure you get your bag and our staff will be there to assist you.. sorry for the inconvenience.. (Ex Airindian Bhajji) we love you."
However, it was staff members of SpiceJet who helped Shardul in finding his kitbags as the Indian all-rounder replied to Harbhajan that he got his luggage back. "@harbhajan_singh Bhajji pa love you tooo ❤️ I got help from @flyspicejet staff, " he replied to the former India spinner on Twitter.

Shardul recently participated in a three-match ODI series against South Africa and performed well. To note, Shardul is not part of the Indian squad that will be participating in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
"Of course, it's a big setback. Every player dreams to play in the World Cup, not just play but win it as well," Thakur had said earlier.
"It's okay I'm not selected this time. But there's still a lot of cricket left and also there's the ODI World Cup next year. My focus will be to do well in whatever matches I play and make winning contributions," he added.
