PBKS lost their first wicket by the second over of their innings.
Tristan Stubbs completed a well-executed catch to send Priyansh Arya back to the pavilion during Match 66 of IPL 2025 between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Priyansh departed for six off nine on the penultimate delivery of the second over after his side were asked to bat first.
Mustafizur Rahman dug in a ball short at around the 136 kph mark. Priyansh did not judge the pace and bounce.and ended up top-edging the pull. Stubbs pulled off an impressive catch and completed it as he tumbled on the ground.

0Standby skipper Faf du Plessis also held onto a splendid catch on the third delivery of the 13th over as Nehal Wadhera had to head back for a run-a-ball 16-run. Wadhera checked his drive off a full delivery bowled by Mukesh Kumar. However, his hand came off the bat and the ball went up quite high. The athletic du Plessis sprinted through from mid-off to mid-on to pouch the ball.

The game against PBKS is the first time the South African is wicketkeeping for DC this season as Abishek Porel was dropped.
