By breaching the Gaddafi Stadium's high-security area in Lahore, a Tik Tokker disproved the reliability of security promises. The authorities assert that they have put in place watertight security measures for the Twenty20 International cricket matches between the Pakistan and England teams at Gaddafi Stadium.

But TikTokker Ali Faizan can be seen shooting in the National High-Performance Center of the stadium, in a video that has gone viral. Faizan entered the PCB board room to shoot a video there, and also went inside Chairman Ramiz Raja’s office to shoot a video by sitting on his chair.

There have been questions about how Ali Faizan entered the high-performance center at the stadium, where even the media is not allowed to enter. Concern has been expressed in the cricket community after the TikTokker posted all of the videos on its channel, but the Pakistan Cricket Board has said nothing.

As per Pakistan’s Aaj TV, it is being said that the media personnel also need to seek permission in order to enter some of the arenas at the stadium, and thus Ali Faizan might have received help from an insider, and they also revealed that the Pakistan Cricket Board has officially registered an inquiry against him.

The PCB has prohibited some cricketers, including Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad, from training out at the National High-Performance Center as England's national side is on a tour for the seven-match T20I series.

According to observers, the lofty assertions made by the PCB and Punjab police that they would provide England players, ICC officials, and other foreign personnel with state guest security during their stay in Lahore are open to serious doubt. At least 8,000 officers and staff are on duty at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to provide security throughout the series, yet a regular citizen has managed to get past the guards.

Pakistan takes a lead in the series

Speaking of the ongoing T20I series between Pakistan and England, the hosts are leading the seven-match series by 3-2, and have made it difficult for England to win the series. While Pakistan needs just one more win to claim the series, England need to win the remaining two games in order to clinch the series 4-3.
