The third legal delivery of the ongoing game between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals was heaved by Abishek Porel for a six over the deep square leg fence off Mohammed Siraj's bowling at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday, April 19. The maximum came just a ball after Porel struck the first boundary of the game.

The left-handed batter's pickup shot went sailing over the fence. The delivery was not the best one as it wasdrifting on the pads. However, it still had to be dispatched. Porel made full use of the waywardness to apply early pressure on Siraj.

The first over resulted 16 runs as DC got off to a positive start with Porel hitting the ground running in sensational style. However, Porel could not capitalise on his dynamic start. A juicy full-toss by Arshad Khan was slogged straught to mid-on on the fourth delivery of the second over. Porel walked back for 18 off nine deliveries. Interestingly, the catch was taken by Siraj himself.

Earlier in the afternoon, GT won the toss and opted to field first. While the hosts went ahead with an unchanged XI, DC made one change with Jake Fraser-McGurk sitting out in place of Mukesh Kumar. DC came into this fixture on the back of a nail-biting Super Over win against Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 16.
