Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are already out of the race to the playoffs. However, they will have a chance to make Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) road a bit more difficult when the two popular teams meet on Saturday, May 3, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, the iconic venue in the city of gardens.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated clash, CSK players were busy sweating it out in the rain at the iconic venue. CSK posted a video on their official social media handles, where the likes of Dewald Brevis and Ravichandran Ashwin could be seen making some last-minute preparations. The players had to eventually rush off the field as the rain became heavier, the clip of which has been doing the rounds on social media, as soon as it was posted by CSK.

CSK have not been able to put on the kind of performances they would have envisaged ahead of the season. They have only managed to win two games and have lost eight out of the 10 they have played so far. In their most recent fixture, the five-time champions lost to Punjab Kings by five wickets in Chennai. This ended their hopes of progressing to the next stage of the tournament. MS Dhoni & Co. will now look to play for pride in the four remaining games and give opportunities to some of their youngsters to help them get ready for next season.

On the other hand, RCB are within touching distance of a spot in the playoffs. However, they will be targeting a finish in the top two, which would give them two chances of qualifying for the final on May 25. Rajat Patidar's men are on a three-match winning streak. They have seven wins and only three defeats after playing 10 games.

RCB are currently positioned at No. 3 on the points table, but a win on Saturday will take them to the top. However, they will have an eye on the weather, as there is a forecast for rain and thunderstorms in the evening.
