Washington Sundar's three-wicket haul shattered Zimbabwe's last hopes 

In reply, Zimbabwe failed to get going as their top three batters were back in the hut for 19/3 in just 3.1 overs. Pacers Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed showed good intensity with the ball before the wily off spinner Washington Sundar joined the party. Notably, he dismissed Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza and Johnathan Campbell to derail the run chase of the hosts.

Even though Dion Myers' unbeaten fifty (65* off 49 balls) and wicketkeeper Madande (37 off 26 balls) put up some fightback by stitching a crucial 77-run stand to keep Zimbabwe in the hunt, Sundar claimed a three-wicket haul by dismissing the talented Madande.

Consequently, Team India outclassed Zimbabwe by 23 runs to gain a 2-1 lead in the five-match T20I series. This triggered a meme fest by the fans on the social media.
