Sonu Sood praises Karn Sharma for supporting the actor’s foundation in the COVID-19 pandemic

Sonu Sood, the popular Bollywood actor, lauded Karn Sharma, the Indian spinner, for showing a lot of support for the actor’s foundation in the ungodly COVID-19 pandemic. In the testing times, Sood, who mostly plays the role of a villain on screen, has turned out to be a real-life hero. In the coronavirus second wave, the veteran hero has been trying his heart out.

In the last couple of weeks or so, on a daily basis, nearly four lakh people are getting infected and the death tolls are rising at an alarming rate as well. For the COVID-19 patients, Sood introduced the Sonu Sood foundation. On Tuesday, he praised Sharma, who plays for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, for his valuable contributions.

The actor took to Twitter and wrote, “Thank you so much brother @sharmakarn03 for your constant support to @SoodFoundation! You have inspired the youth of the nation once again and people like you truly make this world a beautiful and peaceful place.”

Seeing the heartfelt tweet, Karn didn’t forget to thank the actor back. Sharma replied to Sood and wrote, “You are a real hero of the Nation. Doing a great effort. Hats off to you! Keep going, brother.”

Karn isn’t playing in the IPL for now as the tournament had to be postponed for an indefinite period of time. 29 matches took place after which the BCCI pulled the plug on the T20 league.

Sonu Sood lending his helping hand to the needy

Earlier, Sood also helped out Suresh Raina, the former Indian cricketer, and Harbhajan Singh, the veteran spinner, in getting the necessary medical equipment for their family members.

Recently, Sood also expressed his grief over not being able to help a number of people in crisis in a critical situation. He also urged the netizens to wear masks and take the necessary precautionary measures.

He wrote, “Since morning I haven’t kept my phone down, thousands of calls from all over India for HOSPITAL BEDS, MEDICINES, INJECTIONS and still not able to provide to many of them, I feel so helpless. The situation is scary, pls stay at home,wear mask and prevent yourself from infection.”
