A video of a specially-abled bowler taking a one-handed catch has gone viral on social media. In the clip, the bowler, who’s one leg is disabled, can be seen executing a jaw-dropping caught and bowled dismissal. Notably, he made his run-up with the help of a stick. The batsman played an uppish drive to gather runs in the long-off region.

However, the bowler made a full-length dive and grabbed the ball with one hand. In the process, he also left his stick and his teammates were left in awe. It seemed a professional match of handicapped players as players of both teams were sporting distinguishing jerseys and an umpire was also present. Moreover, seeing the effort of the bowler, the wicket-keeper ran to him but he was hobbling.

The game of cricket has indeed seen players taking several astonishing catches. However, putting up such an effort with a disabled leg is nearly unbelievable. Unsurprisingly, the video went viral in no time and the bowler earned praises from different parts.

The second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will get underway on September 19 in UAE. It will be followed by the high-voltage T20 World Cup. Hence, lovers of the gentleman’s game must mark their calendars.
