No, it was not a kiss on the cheeks or the forehead, but right on the lips. The man who took the catch was taken aback by his friend’s action and the crowd applauded the moment with a huge cheer. The NatWest T20 Blast’s official handle shared the funny moment on Twitter with a nice caption which went like “When your mate takes an awesome catch & wins a GRAND. It’s time to be really, really nice to him”.
Jason Roy continued his carnage against Warwickshire by playing a brilliant knock of 74 from balls. his rampant knock consisted of 7 sixes and 4 fours at an incredible strike rate of 194.74. Surrey posted a total of 204 in their 20 overs but even this mammoth total was not enough to seal the victory for Surrey.
Warwickshire chased down the massive total with 4 balls to spare with the help of stellar batting performances from Grant Elliot and Colin de Granhomme.
