It seems organizers are getting confused with the name of the foreign players more often these days. After the typo error with Usman Khawaja’s jersey, it was Sam Billings who found his name written wrongly.

An envelope which was possibly left with the intention of welcoming Billings was addressed to a certain Mr. Willinibillings. The incident happened just after Billings landed at Mohali along with his Delhi Daredevils team ahead of their match against Kings XI Punjab.

The English cricketer was amused by the goof-up and tweeted about it.

The tweeples also jumped in with funny replies. Some called it a perfect name while some asked him to retain the name.

Billings made a wonderful IPL debut for Delhi Daredevils against Kolkata Knight Riders. The middle order batsman struck a fluent half-century to guide DD to a superb win over their oppositions. However, he could do very well in the next two matches which he got to play and that fifty remains his best knock.

Few days back, Rising Pune Supergiants new recruit Usman Khawaja who recently played his first IPL game but had a bit of concern ahead of his debut. Khawaja posted an image of his RPS jersey with a misprint of his name. The jersey had the name ‘Khwaja’ written on it, which is a typo error of his name ‘Khawaja’.

He too posted the picture on his official Facebook and Twitter handles. Usman Khawaja had earlier posted another tweet expressing his excitement about playing in the IPL. He mentioned he is very excited to get the taste of IPL.
