As we saw the Test series which had been won by England by 2-1 and the same story will repeat here as England has won the first rain-affected match by 39 runs and scored their second highest total in ODIs with the combined effort of Jos Buttler, Jason Roy, Alex Hales and Ben Stokes and post a target of 400 runs against South Africa.

While chasing this mammoth total, South Africa lost Amla early but Q de Kock and Faf du Plessis managed a good partnership of 110 runs but then after Africa had lost the wickets of du Plessis and de Villiers in quick succession as both had been removed by Moeen Ali but de Kock scored freely from the other and notched up his 9th ton in ODIs but when match was called off South Africa were 39 runs behind so they lost the match and de Kock’s ton went in vain.
