Stats: Evin Lewis - The six hitting machine

Lewis scored his 2nd T20I hundred in the only T20I against India while his maiden century was also against the same opposition.

After scoring only 67 runs in 4 innings in the ODI series against India, Evin Lewis came out strong in the one-off T20I to smash an unbeaten 125 in the 191-run chase at Jamaica. During his innings, Lewis smashed 12 sixes and was just 2 behind the record in T20I cricket. However, the 12 sixes are the most by any player for Windies and most against India in a T20I inning.

Lewis scored his 2nd T20I hundred and has scored both of them against the Indians. He scored 100 off 49 balls in last year’s T20I series with the help of 9 sixes. He has hit a total of 21 sixes in T20Is against India in just 3 innings. Only 4 players (Gayle vs 3 oppositions) including Lewis so far have hit 20 or more sixes in T20I cricket against a single opposition.
