Virat Kohli added yet another century to his kitty, his 17th Test century and 45th in International cricket in the 2nd innings of the Galle Test against Sri Lanka. Kohli, who was unbeaten on 76 at the end of 3rd day, brought up his hundred and declared the team’s innings after their lead moved to 549 after 6.3 overs of play on the 4th day.

10 – Number of Test centuries as captain for Virat Kohli; the 2nd most by any Indian. Only Sunil Gavaskar (11) has scored 10 or more centuries in Test cricket as Indian captain. Overall, he is the 18th player to score 10 or more centuries in Tests as a captain.

44 – Innings Virat Kohli took to score his 10th Test century as captain; the 5th fewest by any of the 18 players with 10 and more centuries as a Test captain.
