The Kolkata Knight Riders have made a solid start to the Indian Premier League as the have managed to win two of their three opening games. West Indian bowler Sunil Narine has been a major contributor to their success and he did perform with both the bat and the ball in the last game against the Kings XI Punjab.

Narine was very economical with the ball as he gave away just 19 runs in his four overs and also picked up a wicket. Then he was sent out as an opener and did absolute justice to the task. He smashed 37 runs off just 18 deliveries, helping his team set the tone up the order. His explosive start helped his captain Gautam Gambhir to settle down who then led his team past the finish line with ease.

While the player from the Caribbean will be looking to repeat the same kind of performance with the bat and the ball, Sunrisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody spoke about the threats ahead of their clash against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The Australian believes that Narine is not the only threat in the Knight Riders side and feels that there are loads of other players in their team who can change the scenario of a game at any moment.

Moody quoted “We have enjoyed the challenge against him (Narine) in the past. We’ll be foolish to single out him as the only threat. I think there are number of key players within Knight Riders’ (Kolkata) outfit that we need to make sure of get on top of early. He is just one of the few.”

The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise from their official twitter account tweeted a video of Tom Moody expressing his thoughts on Narine, who was rightly awarded the man of the match award for his brilliant performance against the Kings XI Punjab.
