Indian skipper MS Dhoni has been one of the most searched people on the internet. And this is with good reason as well. With his biopic decimating box office records on the very first day itself, this is most certainly expected to be a film of epic proportions.
Dhoni, who has traversed a difficult path to cricketing stardom went on to commend the performance by actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the film. Speaking at an event, Dhoni added that Sushant was exceptional in his preparation for the film and also said that he had completely imitated the way Dhoni walked, talked, and most importantly batted.
“Sushant is exceptional, he has totally imitated me the way I talk, the way I walk, he has copied everything, that’s the beauty of it. When we talk about cricket specifically, he has practiced for 9 months, for two to two and a half hours every day, in fact now he can even participate as a cricketer, in between where there is off season for movies, he can go and play a lot of leagues,” Dhoni said at an event.

As far as Indian cinema goes, this has by far been one of the most awaited films of the year. Moreover, with the publicity taking a massive viewership in India and other places, it seems quite clear that the projections for the film would most certainly be massive.
What’s even more impressive was the fact that it was the 35-year old Indian skipper who recommended Sushant’s name to the producers of the movie.
Anupam Kher, Bhumika Chawla, Rajesh Sharma, and Kiara Advani are the other stars who are cast in the film. However, with the political tensions rising to a zenith between Pakistan and India, the neighboring country has taken the executive decision not to release the film in their country.
