The Round 1 match in the Group A of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2019-20 will be played between Baroda and Goa at the Jadavpur University Complex in Kolkata.

Baroda is one of the two sides to have won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy twice but their recent performances aren’t satisfactory. Even in the last month’s Vijay Hazare Trophy, Baroda finished in the 2nd half in their group. Baroda will kick start their campaign in the 2019/20 Mushtaq Ali tournament on Friday when they face Goa team. CM Gautam was announced to be lead the Goa team in this tournament.
