The second season of the T10 League is set to commence on Wednesday and this time it is bigger and better. A total of eight teams will fight it out for the ultimate glory in Sharjah and the tournament will go on until December 1. Sindhis and Rajputs will lock horns in the season opener this time while Kerala Kings are the defending champions.

Sindhis have appointed Shane Watson as the skipper who will be in action for the first since his match-winning century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They also have some top international cricketers up their sleeve and will be looking to start their season on a high.

As far as Rajputs are concerned, Brendon McCullum is at the helm and he will be the dangerous player as it is even more shrinked format. Like their opposition, even the Rajputs look a formidable unit and start of the season means no team start as overwhelming favourites.

Pitch and Conditions

There is rain in the forecast in the morning but the clouds are expected to get cleared by the evening when the match will start. Being the season opener, the pitch will be full of runs and expect it to be a field day for the batsmen.

Sindhis

With the Mzansi Super League (MSL) in progress at the moment, there is no clarity over Dawid Malan and Mohammad Nawaz‘s availability at the moment. Though the rest of the squad has hit the straps already for the Sindhis and will be raring to go. Shane Watson will open the innings along with Anton Devcich while the likes of Thisara Perera and Ben Cutting will look to go bonkers from the word go.

The bowling attack comprises of Ben Laughlin, Mohammad Irfan along with the all-rounders with Nawaz (if available) and Fawad Ahmed looking after the spin attack.

Rajputs

Rajputs have the might of Afghanistan Mohammad Shahzad and McCullum to open the innings while the likes of Laurie Evans and Samit Patel will follow them. They look a little bit thin on the batting front but are strengthened with the ball. Munaf Patel, Qais Ahmad, Sayed Shirzad, Oshane Thomas among many are in the squad and possess a lot of variety.
