The T10 League at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi is all set for it’s last day before the Super League. In the first game of the day, Deccan Gladiators are set to lock horns with the Karnataka Tuskers. Both teams had contrasting fortunes in their respective last matches. Even as the Tuskers went down to the Bangla Tigers by five wickets, the Gladiators beat the Tigers itself by six wickets.

In the second match, Team Abu Dhabi and Maratha Arabians will lock horns. The former lost to the Northern Warriors by six wickets while the Arabians are coming off a thumping win over the Qalandars by 47 runs. In the last encounter of the day, Bangla Tigers and Delhi Bulls will cross swords. While the Tigers will look to carry on winning, the Bulls will look to get back to winning ways.

Pitch Report

To start with the chasing teams were comfortably running away with the games. However, in the last couple of days, the teams, batting first have also gotten the advantage, winning by 66, 47 and 19 runs. Hence, sides need to look at their strengths before electing whether to bat or field.

Weather Report

The weather will be pleasant for playing cricket. The temperature will start at around 31 degrees Celsius and will come down to 26 degrees Celsius by the time the last match ends. The humidity will be in the 30s to begin with and then will increase as the day progresses. There is no chance of rain.

Deccan Gladiators vs Karnataka Tuskers, Match 10, Group A

Deccan Gladiators

Shane Watson and Anton Devcich with 98 and 55 runs have been the prolific run scorers for the Gladiators. The rest of the batting is yet to be tested. The swashbuckling Mohammad Shahzad is yet to come into his own. In bowling, Migael Pretorius, Zahoor Khan and Zahir Khan Pakteen have economy rates of less than 10 and their role will be key. Fawad Ahmed has been reasonable as well.

Probable XI

Mohammad Shahzad (wk), Shane Watson (C), Anton Devcich, Bhanuka Rajapaksha, Ben Cutting, Dan Lawrence, Migael Pretorius, Zahir Khan, Fawad Ahmed, Mason Crane, Zahoor Khan

Karnataka Tuskers

The Karnataka top-order is in decent form. Hashim Amla needs to take care of his strike-rate, though he has 53 runs. Johnson Charles and Upul Tharanga have strike-rates in excess of 200 with top scores of 57 and 48. Shafiqullah can also tonk the leather a fair distance. In bowling, Lamichhane and Raza have given away nothing. Shapoor, Brown and Rimmington have been a tad on the expensive side.

Probable XI

Johnson Charles, Hashim Amla (C), Ross Whiteley, Upul Tharanga, Shafiqullah Shafaq (wk), Ahmed Raza, Ryan ten Doeschate, Sandeep Lamichhane, Pat Brown, Shapoor Zadran, Nathan Rimmington

Maratha Arabians vs Team Abu Dhabi, Match 11, Group B

Maratha Arabians

The Arabians batting is yet to fire on all cylinders, but a lot of them has made short, yet useful contributions. Dasun Shanaka is the top gun getter with 53 runs at a strike-rate of 182.75. Their bowling has been one of the best. McClenaghan, Malinga, Dwayne Bravo and Shiraz Ahmed have economy of less than 10. Wanindu Hasaranga and James Fuller haven’t flattered to deceive either.

Probable XI

Adam Lyth, Chris Lynn, Yuvraj Singh, Chadwick Walton (wk), Dasun Shanaka, James Fuller, Dwayne Bravo (C), Wanindu Hasaranga, Mitchell McClenaghan, Lasith Malinga, Shiraz Ahmed

Team Abu Dhabi

There’s no update about Corey Anderson, who missed the last game due to a shoulder injury. Luke Wright has looked threatening at the top of the order with 68 runs. Dickwella has promised, but is yet to put forth something substantial. The team will depend on their bowling, which is in form. Mustafa, Gurney and Laughlin have rates less than 10. De Lange and Gleeson have been reasonable.

Probable XI

Niroshan Dickwella (wk), Luke Wright, Moeen Ali (C), Lewis Gregory, Alex Davies, Paras Khadka, Marchant de Lange, Ben Laughlin, Rohan Mustafa, Richard Gleeson, Harry Gurney

Bangla Tigers  vs Delhi Bulls, Match 12, Group A

Bangla Tigers

All of Tom Moores, Rilee Russouw and Andre Fletcher have strike-rates over 200 and it shows how fluent their batters have been. Fletcher has the highest individual score of 40 in the Tigers’ lineup followed by Colin Ingram’s 37. Their bowling is a slight cause of concern. David Wiese hasn’t conceded many, but it’s time for the likes of Plunkett, Kevin and Qais to weave their magic with ball.

Probable XI

Andre Fletcher, Rilee Russouw, Colin Ingram, Thisara Perera (C), Tom Moores (wk), Robbie Frylinck, David Wiese, Chirag Suri, Qais Ahmed, Liam Plunkett, Kevin Koththigoda

Delhi Bulls

The Bulls have depended heavily on skipper Eoin Morgan and Angelo Mathews to deliver. Morgan is in good form after his 52* versus the Gladiators. Paul Stirling and Kusal Perera can also tonk the leather a fair distance, but haven’t contributed thus far. Ravi Rampaul has been their standout bowler with an economy of 6.25. The rest of the Bulls’ bowlers have economy rate of 11 or above.

Probable XI

Kusal Perera (wk), Paul Stirling, Muhammad Usman, Eoin Morgan, Angelo Mathews, David Willey, Adil Rashid, Ravi Rampaul, Ali Khan, Dushmantha Chameera
