Match Details:

The 12th match of the Vitality T20 Blast 2020 is all set to be played between Leicestershire Foxes and Lancashire Lightning at the Grace Road Stadium, Leicester.

This match is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM Local Time (6:30 PM IST) (1:00 PM UTC). This match can be viewed on the Fan Code app in India.

Preview:

Lancashire Lightning will be taking on Leicestershire Foxes in one of the five games scheduled for the day. Lancashire had comprehensively won their first game of the season defeating Durham, scoring a mammoth 190 and winning by 27 runs.

Leicestershire’s first game was unfortunately abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rains and hence will come into the game without any match practice. If they have to stand a chance to win, they will have to do a good job with the ball to put breaks on the mighty batting line-up of Lancashire.

Weather Report

Saturday is expected to be a pleasant day in Leicester, with the temperature around 14 degree Celsius. Between 1 PM and 5 PM, 10-27% precipitation is expected. So it is likely that we will have a game, although it may be a shortened one.

Pitch Condition/Report:

The track at the Grace Road stadium historically has been a good wicket to bat on for the batsman and has allowed for free-flowing shots. With the rain around, and the ball being slippery, batting might become even easier. Batsmen, however, must watch out for the damp wicket which may play a few tricks. It is a hard venue for the bowlers.

Average first innings score: 154 (Last five matches played at this venue)

Record of chasing teams: Won – 3, Lost – 1, No Result – 1
