The finals day of the T20 Blast 2021 at Edgbaston, Birmingham witnessed some amazing action. Kent emerged as the winners of the tournament as they defeated Somerset in the final. They defended 167 runs easily to win the title-clash by 25 runs. However, the skills that Jordan Cox displayed at the boundary was the highlight of the encounter or rather the best moment of the day.

It happened in the 14th over of Somerset’s innings when Lewis Gregory was facing Darren Stevens off the fourth ball. The batsman played a pull shot and the ball seemed to easily go over the ropes over the deep mid-wicket region. It had also gone past the boundary and this is when, Jordan Cox jumped and pulled the ball back in.

Not only he did it with aplomb, Cox perfectly parried the ball to the other field Matt Milnes who easily completed the catch. Everything happened just in a split second that even Cox stunned himself wondering how he managed to display such athleticism. Even as the two fielders celebrated the wicket, all their Kent teammates ran towards the boundary to congratulate them and the crowd was also was left stunned.
