The second day of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 saw a couple of one-sided clashes. While Ireland defeated Netherlands by seven wickets in the afternoon game, Sri Lanka thrashed Namibia by the same margin in the evening game. These wins would definitely have boosted the morale of winning teams. At the same time, Netherlands and Namibia need to fill their loopholes to bounce back.

Speaking of how match 3 unfolded, Netherlands won the toss and opted to bat at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. However, the call proved to be a terrible one as Mark Adair and Curtis Campher ran through the Dutch team’s batting order. The latter even took four wickets in four balls. As a result, the Men in Orange were skittled out for 106. Chasing the mediocre total, Paul Stirling and Gareth Delany played substantial knocks as Ireland crossed the line in 15.1 overs.

As far as match 4 is concerned, Sri Lanka opted to bowl after winning the toss. Namibia couldn’t put up a substantial show and got bundled out for 96. The Lankan Lions didn’t break a sweat and chased down the total in 13.3 overs. Avishka Fernando and Bhanuka Rajapaksa played handy knocks.
