WPL 2024 Schedule

After a successful inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) in 2023, the second edition of the tournament will get underway from Friday, February 23. The opening game of the WPL 2024 will be a repeat of last year’s final between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals which will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Notably, Mumbai etched their name in WPL Winners List by being crowned the first-ever champions of the tournament defeating Delhi in the final by seven wickets.

Same as last year, a total of 22 matches will be played in the tournament which includes 20 league games and two knockout matches. The tournament will be held in two phases with the first 11 matches taking place in Bengaluru while the remaining 11 games will be played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

A total of five teams will be seen contesting for the coveted title out of which the top three teams will qualify for the knockout stages. The team finishing on the top spot will earn a direct qualification in the final while the teams finishing on the second and third spot will take on each other in the Eliminator to fight for the second spot in the summit clash.

All the WPL teams have several players in their squad who will light up the tournament with their stupendous performances as fans wait for the second edition to get underway.
