Responding to the claims, Afghanistan Cricket Board clarified that the reason behind terminating the tournament was because of Snixers' inability to pay the dues as per mutual agreement.
It was learnt that there were allegations over misconduct by few ACB officials and stakeholders in the previous league and the same is under inquiry with ICC, ACU.
ACB postponed the Afghanistan Premier League (APL) to 2020 earlier.
Next year, the ACB will issue a tender for sanctioning of rights for the APL.
