The following six days will be filled with entertainment for the crowd thanks to 6IXTY, a one-of-a-kind tournament with 60 balls per inning introduced in the Caribbean. Warner Park will host the 60-ball competition, which is being organized by Cricket West Indies (CWI). The Men’s competition will include a total of six teams, and the top four teams will advance to the next stage.

The top four teams will then play the semi-finals, and the winners will lock horns with each other in the summit clash scheduled on August 28. In contrast to other championships, there are a few rules that distinguish 6IXTY as a unique tournament. In addition to each innings consisting of 60 balls.

The “Mystery Free Hit” rule is one of the arrangements that will amuse the fans. During the “Mystery Free Hit,” a batter cannot be declared out and the timeframe of the said free hit will be determined by fan poll. Also, by hitting two sixes in the first two overs of a game, a side can activate a third powerplay. A side will bowl half of the overs from one end, all together, and the remaining overs from the other end.

A total of six teams will compete in the men’s tournament: St. Lucia Kings, Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, and St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. On the other hand, the women’s tournament will include three teams: Trinbago Knight Riders, Barbados Royals, and Guyana Amazon Warriors.
