'The greatest rivalry is back' - Rohit Sharma, Babar Azam star in Star Sports' eye-capturing ad for Asia Cup 2022

India and Pakistan have been two of the biggest rival nations when it comes to the game of cricket and they have produced some invaluable memories for a long time now. However, the story has been different in the last decade as the bilateral series have been stopped between the two nations due to political issues. It has been the ICC tournaments or the global multinational tournaments where the fans have been witnessing the two nations battling out. The last India-Pakistan meeting in the T20 World Cup 2021 group stages was a streak-breaking game as the Men in Green won their first-ever game against India in a World Cup fixture. The loss to Pakistan made it tough for India to make the semi-finals and were knocked out of the tournament. The Men in Blue will get their chance to redeem themselves in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 this year in Australia on the 23rd of October. Before the ICC event, India and Pakistan will be part of the Asia Cup 2022 and the fans will get to watch the biggest rivalry yet another time. The Asia Cup starts on the 27th of August and will go on until the 11th of September while the India-Pakistan game is scheduled to take place on the 28th of August at the Dubai International Stadium. India will start as the defending champions after winning the previous edition of the tournament in 2018. On the other side of the line, there are good players. Today, this line has called out to us, and today my India wants to lift the cup for the 8th time and wave the Indian flag on the world stage.” Shaheen Afridi and Babar Azam, who will be the two key players for Pakistan in the upcoming rivalry, were present in the advertisement as Rohit was quite clear about his plans to take India to the glory moment.
