The team will return to action against Birmingham Phoenix on Sunday for one of their most important matches of the season. When it comes to Buttler, his progress will be closely monitored. It is not known whether the 31-year-old can be a part of the Pakistan series, which begins next month. The Caribbean giant left the squad to join Jamaica Tallawahs and focus on the upcoming Caribbean Premier League. He was also adjudged as the Man of the Match. Thus, it’s certain that the team will be missing his service for the rest of the tournament. In the women’s squad, Erin Burns will be replacing West Indies international Deandra Dottin, who has also returned home.
