Oval Invincibles registered their first victory of the 2022 Hundred Men’s tournament after defeating the Welsh Fire by a decent margin of 39 runs. Batter Will Jacks was excellent with the bat as he scored 81 off 45 balls and helped his team to post a good total on the board. He was also adjudged player of the match for his vital contribution with the bat.

The bowling side tasted some early success as Invincibles star batters Jason Roy and Rilee Rossouw were sent back to the pavilion quickly.
