'The only Superstar of Indian cinema' - Harbhajan Singh bears a Rajinikanth tattoo on his chest to wish the acting legend on his 71st birthday

Superstar Rajinikanth is a phenomenon. And, 12th December every year is treated like a mini carnival in the state of Tamil Nadu, for it marks Rajinikanth’s birthday. Today, the cinema legend is celebrating his 71st birthday, and it is indeed a joyous occasion for his fans.

Not only common folk, but even several celebrities are also fans of Rajinikanth. And, one amongst them is former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Harbhajan took to Instagram to wish Rajinikanth on his birthday.

Singh posted a tattoo of the South Indian actor, and added in Tamil that he bears Rajinikanth on his chest. Singh also commented about the various iconic movies that Rajini has been a part of, like Billa (1980s), Baasha (1990s), and Annathee (2020s). Singh also opined that Rajinikanth is the only Superstar of Indian cinema.

Harbhajan Singh is one of the all-time greats of the game

Harbhajan Singh is one of the legends of Indian cricket. The right arm off spin bowling legend has taken 417 wickets for India in Tests, and 269 scalps in the ODI format of the game. In T20I cricket, ‘Bhajji’ picked up 25 willow wielders.

Singh was also a part of the Indian side that won the 2007, as well as the 2011 World Cups. He played his last international match for India in the year 2015.

Rajinikanth was last seen in his Tamil flick, Annathee. The film grossed close to INR 300 Crores at the box office. The acting colossus was also awarded the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke award for his contribution to Indian cinema this year.

Rajinikanth was also bestowed with India’s second-highest civilian honour, the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award, in the year 2016. He has acted in 163 movies in his legendary career that has spanned over four and half decades.
