<strong>The Young Guns; Emerging Players XI &#8211; IPL 2015: </strong>The IPL is a Global platform which has showered many young cricketers the opportunity to prove and make a name in front of big crowds and millions of viewers all around the globe. This also leads to sharing dressing rooms with established international stars. IPL in general, has changed the manner in which the game is played. Over the years we have seen Indian Youngsters matching shoulders with international players to play innovative shots, going after the leading bowlers in the world, notching them over the park and so on. This season has been no different, as many youngsters have emerged to make headlines with some creative display of cricket on the field. Some of them are even considered as possible future stars for the Men-In-Blue.

In this context, let us take a look at some Indian young guns who have made a name for themselves in this edition’s extravaganza, to make in our IPL Emerging Xi.

The Mumbai lad has been a revolution for the Daredevils side, his attacking batting display has been key to DD’s fortunes this season. Coming from a brilliant Ranji season, Iyer grabbed the IPL opportunity with both hands scoring heavily in the league stage. The 20-year-old was among top-5 run getters during the mid-half of the tournament, in the list which comprised of the names like Ajinkya Rahane, David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Brendon McCullum etc.  The talented opener has managed to score 439 runs in 14 games with an impressive average of 33.76 in his debut season with DD. He was declared the Emerging Player of the IPL 2015.

Iyer has been among the most talked about young Indians in IPL 2015. He had entered the players’ auction with a base price of Rs.10 lakhs, and was rope in by the Delhi franchise for a whopping Rs.2.6 crores, almost like a reward for his stellar shows off late.

Mandeep Singh, who shifted to RCB from Kings XI Punjab due to lack of opportunities in the team has turned his fortunes this year with new franchise.  The Punjab’s Ranji Trophy skipper came into the IPL with some decent form under his kitty. Though he didn’t have best of start at RCB but came back nicely to play few quick-fire match winning knocks. AB de Villers and Virat Kohli have termed him as special talent going one for the future. He recently smashed a brilliant 54 runs knock in 33 balls to take RCB home against Rajasthan Royal in the Eliminator.

<strong>3. Surya Kumar Yadav (KKR):</strong>

The KKR middle order batsman started it off in style with a superb 46 not out innings in the opening game of the season. Surya Kumar has ability to play those delightful hooks and stylish flicks, which is always treat to eyes. Yadav  who even led  the mighty Mumbai Ranji side, is definitely one of the most talented players in the Indian domestic circuit and can go all the way to represent the country.

The Mumbaikar took field 13 times this season for the KKR scoring 157 runs with an impressive Strike-rate of 138.93.

17-year-old Sarfaraz Khan had a brilliant season playing alongside stars like Gayle, AB and Virat Kohli. A clean striker of the ball he has emerged as important cog in RCB’s batting line-up. He is creatively innovative much like his team-mate AB de Villers and tends to take on fast bowlers where he generally likes ticking them over the wicket-keeper. Sarfaraz came with some valuable knocks surprising everyone with his temperament and explosive hard-hitting.

Hard-hitting all-rounder Hardik Pandya suddenly became the house hold name after his recent heroics in the IPL 2015.  Within a week he twice guided Mumbai Indians to victory against top opponents Chennai Super Kings and KKR. His innings against the Kolkata was a special piece stroking a superb quick-fire 61 off 31, especially while the burly Kieron Pollard was struggling to time the ball, Hardik&#8217;s blitzkrieg snatched the game away from the visitors.

Pawan Negi rose to the occasion when the left-arm spinner clinched a maiden 5-wicket-haul in the Champion League T20 final against the KKR in 2014. An injury to lead spinner R Ashwin made way for young Negi to step in and has made a decent effort to come along with his team into the finals. He is someone who enjoys a place in captain Dhoni’s good books and the skipper has trusted him over experienced Jadeja in both batting and bowling department.

He is already making news for his all-round play and picked up 6 wickets and 113 in 9 games so far. It’s for time to decide how long a journey Negi makes in his career.

<strong>7. Yuvzendra Chahal (RCB):</strong>

Chahal is undoubtedly the best spinner in the IPL this season with 23 scalps in 15 games. The Haryana lad was the go to man for Virat Kohli whenever the captain needed wickets and he didn’t disappoint him either. Chahal grew into a crucial member of the RCB line-up combining nicely with the combo of Starc and Harshal Patel. The youngster is known for googlies, has also been part of Mumbai Indians squad till 2013. His brilliant show in the IPL and good numbers might turn the ante in his favor for the national berth.

<strong>8. Sandeep Sharma (KXIP):</strong>

This right arm pacer had come up to prominence during the under 19 world cup. Playing for Kings XI Punjab, this 22 year old youngster has surprised everyone by his bowling skills and the swing. Though he is not express with his pace, but the line-lengths are at the near perfect mark, and rarely deviated from that. He was a part of the team that could make no mark in the league Snadeep, is probably the only silver lining for the KXIP.

Harshal Patel had a dream IPL season which can bring him to the national reckoning following his performances with the RCB. Patel who generally looks to take the ball away from the right-hander  has formed a great opening pair with Aussie spearhead Mitchell Starc to grab 17 wickets in 15 games this season. Probably the reason RCB became more dangerous was, their domestic bowlers coming into party.

<strong>10. Jagadeesha Suchith (MI):</strong>

Suchith was signed by Mumbai Indians before this year’s extravaganza for Rs.10 lakh. The 21-year-old Mysore lad is a left-hand batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. But more than his batting, it is his bowling that has caught the eye. Jagadeesha Suchit impressed one-and-all with his temperament while bowling to some established T20 stars.

He is in the company of some of the game&#8217;s reputed stars but when the opportunity came, Suchith grabbed it with both hands to complete a successful IPL sting with MI bagging 10 wickets in 13 games. He strained the Mumbai Indians think-thank to pick him ahead of the experienced Pragyan Ojha this season.

<strong>11. Anureet Singh (KXIP):</strong>

Coming off from an excellent domestic season with Railways, Anureet Singh made a early impression for Kings XI Punjab as a new ball bowler with decent control in swing. Anureet has formed a brilliant new ball opening partnership with Sandeep Sharma getting wickets at regular intervals. Despite Kings not doing particularly well in this edition, he was consistent picking up 15 wickets in 14 games in his first full IPL season. Anureet has earlier represented KKR in 2009 edition.

<p>Coming off from an excellent domestic season with Railways, Anureet Singh made a early impression for Kings XI Punjab as a new ball bowler with decent control in swing. Anureet has formed a brilliant new ball opening partnership with Sandeep Sharma getting wickets at regular intervals. Despite Kings not doing particularly well in this edition, he was consistent picking up 15 wickets in 14 games in his first full IPL season. Anureet has earlier represented KKR in 2009 edition.</p>

<p><strong>The Young Guns; Emerging Players XI &#8211; IPL 2015: </strong>The IPL is a Global platform which has showered many young cricketers the opportunity to prove and make a name in front of big crowds and millions of viewers all around the globe. This also leads to sharing dressing rooms with established international stars. IPL in general, has changed the manner in which the game is played. Over the years we have seen Indian Youngsters matching shoulders with international players to play innovative shots, going after the leading bowlers in the world, notching them over the park and so on. This season has been no different, as many youngsters have emerged to make headlines with some creative display of cricket on the field. Some of them are even considered as possible future stars for the Men-In-Blue.</p>
<p>In this context, let us take a look at some Indian young guns who have made a name for themselves in this edition’s extravaganza, to make in our IPL Emerging Xi.</p>
<h3>Here goes The Young Guns; Emerging Players XI &#8211; IPL 2015</h3>
<h4><strong>1. Shreyas Iyer (DD):</strong></h4>

<p>The Mumbai lad has been a revolution for the Daredevils side, his attacking batting display has been key to DD’s fortunes this season. Coming from a brilliant Ranji season, Iyer grabbed the IPL opportunity with both hands scoring heavily in the league stage. The 20-year-old was among top-5 run getters during the mid-half of the tournament, in the list which comprised of the names like Ajinkya Rahane, David Warner, Rohit Sharma, Brendon McCullum etc.  The talented opener has managed to score 439 runs in 14 games with an impressive average of 33.76 in his debut season with DD. He was declared the Emerging Player of the IPL 2015.</p>
<p>Iyer has been among the most talked about young Indians in IPL 2015. He had entered the players’ auction with a base price of Rs.10 lakhs, and was rope in by the Delhi franchise for a whopping Rs.2.6 crores, almost like a reward for his stellar shows off late.</p>
<h4><strong>2. Mandeep Singh (RCB):</strong></h4>

<p>Mandeep Singh, who shifted to RCB from Kings XI Punjab due to lack of opportunities in the team has turned his fortunes this year with new franchise.  The Punjab’s Ranji Trophy skipper came into the IPL with some decent form under his kitty. Though he didn’t have best of start at RCB but came back nicely to play few quick-fire match winning knocks. AB de Villers and Virat Kohli have termed him as special talent going one for the future. He recently smashed a brilliant 54 runs knock in 33 balls to take RCB home against Rajasthan Royal in the Eliminator.</p>
<h4><strong>3. Surya Kumar Yadav (KKR):</strong></h4>

<p>The KKR middle order batsman started it off in style with a superb 46 not out innings in the opening game of the season. Surya Kumar has ability to play those delightful hooks and stylish flicks, which is always treat to eyes. Yadav  who even led  the mighty Mumbai Ranji side, is definitely one of the most talented players in the Indian domestic circuit and can go all the way to represent the country.</p>
<p>The Mumbaikar took field 13 times this season for the KKR scoring 157 runs with an impressive Strike-rate of 138.93.</p>
<h4><strong>4. Sarfaraz Khan (RCB):</strong></h4>

<p>17-year-old Sarfaraz Khan had a brilliant season playing alongside stars like Gayle, AB and Virat Kohli. A clean striker of the ball he has emerged as important cog in RCB’s batting line-up. He is creatively innovative much like his team-mate AB de Villers and tends to take on fast bowlers where he generally likes ticking them over the wicket-keeper. Sarfaraz came with some valuable knocks surprising everyone with his temperament and explosive hard-hitting.</p>
<h4><strong>5. Hardik Pandya (MI):</strong></h4>

<p>Hard-hitting all-rounder Hardik Pandya suddenly became the house hold name after his recent heroics in the IPL 2015.  Within a week he twice guided Mumbai Indians to victory against top opponents Chennai Super Kings and KKR. His innings against the Kolkata was a special piece stroking a superb quick-fire 61 off 31, especially while the burly Kieron Pollard was struggling to time the ball, Hardik&#8217;s blitzkrieg snatched the game away from the visitors.</p>
<h4><strong>6. Pawan Negi (CSK):</strong></h4>

<p>Pawan Negi rose to the occasion when the left-arm spinner clinched a maiden 5-wicket-haul in the Champion League T20 final against the KKR in 2014. An injury to lead spinner R Ashwin made way for young Negi to step in and has made a decent effort to come along with his team into the finals. He is someone who enjoys a place in captain Dhoni’s good books and the skipper has trusted him over experienced Jadeja in both batting and bowling department.</p>
<p>He is already making news for his all-round play and picked up 6 wickets and 113 in 9 games so far. It’s for time to decide how long a journey Negi makes in his career.</p>
<h4><strong>7. Yuvzendra Chahal (RCB):</strong></h4>

<p>Chahal is undoubtedly the best spinner in the IPL this season with 23 scalps in 15 games. The Haryana lad was the go to man for Virat Kohli whenever the captain needed wickets and he didn’t disappoint him either. Chahal grew into a crucial member of the RCB line-up combining nicely with the combo of Starc and Harshal Patel. The youngster is known for googlies, has also been part of Mumbai Indians squad till 2013. His brilliant show in the IPL and good numbers might turn the ante in his favor for the national berth.</p>
<h4><strong>8. Sandeep Sharma (KXIP):</strong></h4>

<p>This right arm pacer had come up to prominence during the under 19 world cup. Playing for Kings XI Punjab, this 22 year old youngster has surprised everyone by his bowling skills and the swing. Though he is not express with his pace, but the line-lengths are at the near perfect mark, and rarely deviated from that. He was a part of the team that could make no mark in the league Snadeep, is probably the only silver lining for the KXIP.</p>
<h4><strong>9. Harshal Patel (RCB):</strong></h4>

<p>Harshal Patel had a dream IPL season which can bring him to the national reckoning following his performances with the RCB. Patel who generally looks to take the ball away from the right-hander  has formed a great opening pair with Aussie spearhead Mitchell Starc to grab 17 wickets in 15 games this season. Probably the reason RCB became more dangerous was, their domestic bowlers coming into party.</p>
<h4><strong>10. Jagadeesha Suchith (MI):</strong></h4>

<p>Suchith was signed by Mumbai Indians before this year’s extravaganza for Rs.10 lakh. The 21-year-old Mysore lad is a left-hand batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. But more than his batting, it is his bowling that has caught the eye. Jagadeesha Suchit impressed one-and-all with his temperament while bowling to some established T20 stars.</p>
<p>He is in the company of some of the game&#8217;s reputed stars but when the opportunity came, Suchith grabbed it with both hands to complete a successful IPL sting with MI bagging 10 wickets in 13 games. He strained the Mumbai Indians think-thank to pick him ahead of the experienced Pragyan Ojha this season.</p>
<h4><strong>11. Anureet Singh (KXIP):</strong></h4>
