Team India is all set to embark on their tour to the United Kingdom after the ongoing historic Test match against Afghanistan. All the players of the squad underwent the yo-yo fitness test on Friday at the B ground of the Chinnaswamy Stadium premises as the Test team continued to dominate the opposition. The BCCI is yet to officially announce the results of the fitness test but three cricketers of the limited overs squad have cleared the test successfully.

During the test, all the eyes were on the skipper Virat Kohli was he is recovering from the neck injury he sustained during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Also, the likes of MS Dhoni, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Washington Sundar,  Yuzvendra Chahal, Ambati Rayudu and Manish Pandey among others appeared for the yo-yo tests and soon the results will be officially announced.

Who cleared the test?

Siddarth Kaul, Jasprit Bumrah and Suresh Raina have cleared the fitness test successfully ahead of one of the toughest tours for Team India. Kaul himself posted the picture with the other two cricketers on Twitter and informed the good news to his fans and followers. He captioned the picture with the message which read, “excited Mein Aidaaa Cleared the Yo-Yo Test. Can’t wait to share the dressing room with these fine gentlemen 🙂 #FitnessTest @ImRaina @Jaspritbumrah93.”

The trio will be crucial to India’s chances on the tour and it will be interesting to see the way they fare in the upcoming T20I series. India will face Ireland in the two-match T20 international series commencing on June 27. Then England will challenge the Men in Blue in the shortest format in three matches starting from July 3. While Raina is only the part of the T20I squad, Bumrah and Kaul have made it to the ODI team as well.
